Here's a little information about us:
In the bookkeeping and tax services area there is a seemingly endless variety of practitioners ranging from the self-proclaimed bookkeeper who once took a course in high school to expensive CPA firms.
I am Niles D. Polzine, EA. I hold a BBA Degree from the University of Houston (1975) with a concentration in Accounting. Prior to opening my practice I was employed by a billion dollar corporation for over 8 years, leaving with the title of (Censored by Texas State Board of Public Accountancy) Manager. As an Enrolled Agent (EA) I am "Enrolled to Practice Before the I.R.S." Only an Enrolled Agent, Attorney, or CPA is allowed to represent taxpayers before the I.R.S.
Since 1984 Polzine & Company has based its business philosphy on personal service. We are not an impersonal "conglomerate" or a franchise operation with high overhead costs. We take the time to know our clients because we know that our success results from their success.
Our office is extensively computerized to offer our services as efficiently, and therefore as affordably as possible, but we recognize that our people do the thinking. The computer is only one of the tools we use to meet our clients' needs. The staff is carefully selected and trained to insure continued high standards of performance. We hope you enjoy our web site. As part of my business continuation plan I’m very excited to announce the merger of Polzine & Company with Monte R. Barnes FTC, Inc. Nicole and I are both really excited about this change as she is staying with the new firm as well. Monte is a seasoned professional in business since 1987, an Enrolled Agent like myself, and has a larger organization than mine. The merger provides you with several important benefits.
Since I’ll be 71 years old this month, one obvious benefit is that if I were to become incapacitated for any reason your current services would continue uninterrupted. Monte and his staff, including Nicole, are fully qualified, ready, willing and able to provide you with the same high level of bookkeeping and tax services you have come to expect.
In addition to bookkeeping and tax, the new organization will be able to offer financial planning services with an in-house financial planner. The synergy of getting investment advice and tax services in one place is a definite benefit.
As most of you know, my wife suffers from MS and as her disease progresses she needs more and more help. With this merger I’ll be able to provide more of that help without closing the office to do it.
For now we will be maintaining two locations. Our Naco Perrin office will remain open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from
8 a.m. to 2 p.m. while our new office at:
